Angel Olsen is an American artist and singer hailing from St. Louis, Missouri who lives within Asheville North Carolina. Olsen has recorded six albums to his name His most recent release is The Woman Who All Mirrors Burn Your Fire for No Witness half Way Home and Big Time. All Mirrors featured dark synth-rock which was almost gothic, and an emotional trip into orchestral pop in her last album. Big Time was the first Olsen's album to sing about lesbian desire. On this album, Olsen resorted to a traditional popular country music style with an extensive history. It makes some sense.
